Supporting Families in Waltham through Adult and Preschool Education

The Waltham Family School is an English language program for immigrant families that prepares children for Kindergarten and provides English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) education to their parents.
Our families have remarkable strength and dedication, and are eager to embrace the community, fuel their children's success, and forge a bright path ahead.
What We Do
At the Waltham Family School, parents and their children attend the program four mornings a week, Tuesday-Friday, 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM.
Our family-focused program is made up of four parts:
Preschool for children ages 3 to 5
English to Speakers of Other Languages classes for adult caregivers
Family engagement opportunities within the school system and Waltham community
Social emotional support and connection to community resources
Our ultimate goal is to support families in their educational journey. We make sure children are ready to succeed in school and parents learn enough English to succeed at work, school, and in the community.
